What This Means For You:

  • Regular users remain active, but accounts inactive for over 365 days will be automatically removed.

5. Subscription Services

5.1 Plans and Pricing

Initial Trial:

  • One-time charge of $0.99
  • Full access to all premium features and serialized novels
  • Converts to standard monthly plan after trial

Standard Monthly Subscription:

  • Begins after the trial period ends
  • $29.99 per month
  • Billed monthly on the same day each month
  • No additional trial periods available

Price Transition:

  • Trial price ($0.99) applies for the first 7 days only
  • Standard monthly rate ($29.99) begins immediately after the trial
  • First standard charge occurs on trial expiration
  • Users are notified of the exact pricing before the trial ends

Example:

If you start a trial on January 1st:

  • January 1–7: $0.99 total (trial period)
  • January 8 onwards: $29.99/month (standard rate)
  • Option to cancel before standard rate begins

5.2 Trial Period

Trial Eligibility:

  • Available to first-time subscribers only
  • One trial per user account
  • Valid email address required
  • $0.99 charge processed immediately

Trial Features:

  • Full access to all premium serialized novels
  • All platform features unlocked
  • No content restrictions
  • Same experience as standard subscribers

Trial Conversion:

  • Automatically converts to $29.99/month subscription after 7 days
  • Cancel anytime during trial to avoid standard charges
  • No refunds for trial period after 7 days (see Refund Policy)
  • Email reminders sent before conversion

5.3 Billing and Payment

  • Debit cards

Billing Cycle:

  • Monthly billing on the anniversary of your subscription start date
  • Charges processed automatically

Reactivation:

  • Previous subscribers can reactivate anytime
  • No trial period for returning subscribers

  • Reading progress and bookmarks restored

6. Refund Policy

6.1 Trial Period Refunds ($0.99)

Eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase if:

  • First-time trial user
  • No previous trial refunds on any account
  • No terms of service violations

6.2 Regular Subscription Refunds

Not eligible for refunds except in these specific cases:

a) Service Unavailability:

  • Documented downtime exceeding 24 consecutive hours
  • Not caused by scheduled maintenance or force majeure events

b) Technical Issues:

  • Must be reported within 30 days of charge

c) Billing Errors:

6.5 Refund Payment Methods

  • All refunds will be processed only to the original payment method used for the purchase
  • Refunds cannot be processed to alternative payment methods or accounts
  • For expired or canceled cards, refunds will be processed to the original card, and your financial institution will handle crediting your account
  • The ability to receive refunds on expired or canceled cards is subject to your financial institution's policies

6.6 Currency Processing

  • For all other regions, charges will be processed in USD

Currency Conversion:

  • Exchange rates are determined by your bank or card issuer

  • You may see currency conversion charges on your statement from your bank

While we don't charge additional fees for currency conversion, your bank or card issuer may apply their own conversion fees or charges. Please check with your financial institution for details about their international transaction policies.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality on sagabox are owned by sagabox or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

What You Cannot Do:

sagabox, our logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of sagabox Inc. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.

8. User Content and Rights

If we allow user comments, reviews, or other content submissions:

Your Responsibilities:
